We work closely with the internationally recognised Swimming Teachers' Association to ensure all Turtle Tots teachers are trained to the highest standards possible, and our teachers are amongst the most highly trained and qualified in the world.

The best baby and toddler swimming teachers
Every Turtle Tots teacher is qualified to the highest standards available in our industry. They each hold the Swimming Teachers' Association's (STA's) Swimming Teaching Award and Baby and Pre-School Award, plus a lifesaving qualification.
We take safety seriously
Every member of Turtle Tots staff holds a valid DBS check, and has completed a Safeguarding Children, Young People & Vulnerable Adults course.
World class
And that's not all... every teacher completes the rigorous Turtle Tots training in order to be able to deliver our programme and holds, or is working towards, the STA's Level 3 Baby & Pre-School Diploma - expanding their knowledge into child psychology and neuroscience, which has led to changing theories of how children learn.

What all this means is that not only are Turtle Tots teachers equipped with the best qualifications in the industry, they are also trained to understand more about how babies in the pre-verbal period, their early brain development, the importance of early attachment and how best to support babies' learning in this critical early part of life.
